Mambo Chita Tann (“Mambo T”) is a mambo asogwe, the highest initiated rank in Haitian Vodou. She has more than 20 years of experience as a teacher, published author, and lecturer on African religions, and has been a Haitian Vodou initiate since 2001.
Her peristyle or Vodou temple, Sosyete Fos Fe Yo We (Sosyete Kouwone Andezo from 2001-6), was founded in 2001, and is a peristyle in the lineage of La Sosyete La Fraicheur Belle Fleur Guinea of New Orleans, Louisiana and La Plaine, Haiti; and Sosyete Sipote Ki Di of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Mambo T is also a professional Egyptologist, and the spiritual leader of the Kemetic Orthodox Religion, a modern form of ancient Egyptian religion. She has written numerous ancient Egypt-related books, and appeared in a History Channel documentary about ancient Egyptian religion under her given name, Tamara L. Siuda.
